The Standing Committee on Public Accounts was, therefore, within its right to visit Eskom to see for itself what progress, if any, had been made since the previous undertakings before the committee. The visit followed ongoing delays with the completion of the Medupi and Kusile power stations, which are way beyond their original deadlines.
