Mbeki sings Mugabe's praises at Durban memorial service

KZN premier Sihle Zikalala said Mugabe was someone who spearheaded the agenda of the African community.

ANC provincial secretary Mdumiseni Ntuli said at least four memorial services for Mugabe had been planned in KZN.

The fact that Mugabe was a liberator, teacher, intellectual, etc is undisputed. Its a choice on what one wants to remember him for, old or recent past. Recent past judging by the economy in Zim is nothing to be proud of

Any analysis that doesn’t acknowledge Mugabe’s responsibility for the poverty and mass exodus of millions of Zimbabweans and instead seeks to absolve him and put the blame on some western boogeymen is irresponsible. Such will ensure we never see progress in African leadership

I'm a Zimbabwean by Birth ,it pains me to see ANC telling people lie that Mugabe Supported SA, Mugabe hated ANC because it worked with ZAPU of Joshua Nkomo even shipping out of Zimbabwe MK soldiers because he wanted to delay liberation of SA.

Mugabe's liberation credentials are never in question,it is his statesmanship that must be interrogated ,he failed to lead the nation. That's why by the time of his death the country is almost a failed state
