JOHANNESBURG - Internet service providers are warning users to expect slow connections and downloads after an undersea cable was damaged."We live vicariously, unfortunately, through these undersea cables and they are cables in the middle of the ocean, well at the bottom of the ocean, kind of at the edge of a continent.Sometimes things happen, waves or big sea currents can do something to affect the cables.

Of course with Telkom!

Slow connections can be expected and understandable due to the unfortunate break. Internet should be disrupted but not completely down. Can't earn an income without the internet and TelkomZA has not responded to logged faults or phone calls for days. PleaseHelp 🥺🌻

I stated to notice yesterday.

Please inform us immediately when this issue is solved. I rather not say anything (rude) amidst this virus outbreak and lockdown.
