Authorities in Limpopo have been visiting schools in various districts to. Education MEC Polly Boshielo monitored schools in the Vhembe district, while her Social Development counterpart Nkakareng Rakgoale visited the Sekhukhune district.

“I applied for my two daughters at Nirvana primary school, so my challenge is that they only accepted one who is going to do grade 3 and the one who is going to do grade 1 was not accepted and they didn’t tell me a reason,” says one of the parents. However, MEC Boshielo has given assurances that all the learners will be admitted. She says she’s expecting a report from the department’s district offices on Friday.
