Letters | Dear Mr President: We, the young people, need hope

I never met my dad and he never met me. He was shot and killed when my mother was seven months pregnant with me. I’ve been told he was a great man, a leader, but unfortunately I don’t even have a picture of him. At nine years of age, I lost my mum too. I was born in Ermelo, Mpumalanga, but now live in Pimville, Soweto.

When basics such as mealie meal and sugar become luxuries, it is hard to find the joy and meaning of life.I live with my grandmother in the Eastern Cape. She had seven children, all of them are dead today – from violent crime, car accidents, AIDS-related illnesses, gender-based violence, you name it...

The choices we make today and how we live and lead now is what we will pass on to the next generation. Mr President, we have not walked a mile in your shoes, just as you have not walked in ours, but we want to work with you. Intergenerational dialogue and collaboration is key.One thing is clear – we need to start afresh and create a new culture.

There was a certain President before this one...but all will be fine

Wake up and smell the roses, there is and never will be a new dawn while corrupt to the core MYANC in government. AfricanNationalCorruption VoetsekANC

This is painful

So ngokwakho you expecting the president ukuthi azokukucentela lapho kini

Unfortunately, you get what u vote for.

This place does not look like someone is staying there....

We need to vote out the anc or at least give them such a jolt that they wake up. No one wants to see such a fine legacy so defaced but the truth hurts

She was killed by Mbekis denialism of AIDS

VusiSambo The question how do I fit into “A better life for all”, “Together we can do more”; “ New dawn…” and all the other beautifull and catchy slogans

This should not be happening. There is enough to improve all South africans lives... but more important for the cadres to aspire to a colonial life style.... this is so so 😥

Voices | How the EFF plans to stop the tenderpreneurship rot | CitypressThere is a dangerous notion doing the rounds that to extend service delivery to our people in towns, cities and municipalities, we have to outsource the provision of services – even at such basic levels as cleaners, security guards and landscapers. All my experience happens to be total failure but i never gave up because i knew it was going to work out for me someday, fortunately am smiling today by getting involved with a manager I came across on a Tweet lisamiaBTC all I can say is she is the best of all. I was referred to him by a friend online and I thought is a scam ...but I was moved to try and here I earned.. just want to share this to people too. Micheal_addy_ Destroy South Africa so there is no money for tenders?

We can see they putting the vote in the trash when voting for ANC IMO this has been a deliberate move by those in power... continue dumbing down the education sector.. end up with a population amass of non critical thinkers who keep getting led by a carrot on a stick...guess whos th donkey & whos sitting on it &holding th stick.
