China and Russia also agreed to co-operate on the launch of a robotic lunar mission, Chang’e 7, in about 2025, said Liu Jizhong, director of the administration’s China Lunar Exploration and Space Engineering Center.The announcements are the latest signs of closer co-operation between the two countries. Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to be the most notable world leader to visit Beijing for the opening of the Winter Olympics next week.
