"That is why, as the government, we have taken the decision to suspend those involved in this matter. It was not acceptable. It should not have happened and we have acted decisively." The KwaZulu-Natal Health MEC Nomagugu Simelane-Zulu has also reassigned the hospital's acting CEO to her original position as a maternal health specialist.
