Springbok captain Siya Kolisi's impassioned and firm defence of flyhalf Manie Libbok ahead of Saturday's crunch Pool B clash against Ireland in Paris shows no signs of wavering.

Kolisi had already defended Libbok following their 18-3 defeat of Scotland, a game in which the latter was the man of the match.

Sexton, who will captain the team on Saturday, is loaded with experience, while the 23-year-old Crowley has only seven caps. Goalkicking has been a constant conversation with the Springboks ever since last year's end-of-year tour. During the aforementioned Ireland game, five missed points off Damian Willemse's and Cheslin Kolbe's boots were seen as a contributing factor to the loss. For Libbok, who has a 76 percent goalkicking average at the Stormers, the debate refuses to fizzle out as his numbers have dipped with the Boks.

Substitutes: 16 Dan Sheehan, 17 David Kilcoyne, 18 Finlay Bealham, 19 Iain Henderson, 20 Ryan Baird, 21 Conor Murray, 22 Jack Crowley, 23 Robbie Henshaw15 Damian Willemse, 14 Kurt-Lee Arendse, 13 Jesse Kriel, 12 Damian de Allende, 11 Cheslin Kolbe, 10 Manie Libbok, 9 Faf de Klerk, 8 Jasper Wiese, 7 Pieter-Steph du Toit, 6 Siya Kolisi , 5 Franco Mostert, 4 Eben Etzebeth, 3 Frans Malherbe, 2 Bongi Mbonambi, 1 Steven...

"We don't want Manie sitting and stressing about [it], he has so many great things. The way he controls us, the first time he came I had a conversation with him."I said, 'Manie, the same as you do at the Stormers, when you speak, we will all shut up'.
