A senior Kenya Airways official is among the four people who have died from COVID-19 in Kenya.
On Saturday, the Health Cabinet Secretary paid tribute to the retired Airforce Major, saying he paid the ultimate price.Kenya to produce its own protective gear for health workers and that it was in talks with motor companies in the country to produce ventilators. This followed the donation by Chinese Billionaire Jack Ma of Personal Protective Equipment to all African countries.
The east African country said that it would be producing its own protective gears as it would be difficult to get the equipment from outside the country.
