Former Minister of Intelligence Ronnie Kasrils says the grievances of military veterans could have been easily addressed.

The veterans are demanding millions in gratuity payments. Kasrils says this shows that there are gaps in the government's database system. This comes after three government ministers were held hostage by war veterans on Thursday evening.

He said, “in 2011, the Military Veteran's Act was passed and that did open up and I think it was a great error a further assessment of who should qualify as military veterans but in accordance with that particular act, there is absolutely no question on promises about R4-million about land and such."

"They had databases as well of which they carried from the Modise period they might have allowed the more names to be added there but it's absolutely clear that there are bogus people, and bogus organizations people... who could never have fought in the struggle, who do not look as though they are 45 and over."

Nah. The problem lies in trying to rectify the past instead of building the future. Ramaphosa asked for reparations for slavery just the other day. Even though South Africa was little more than a truck stop in the industrialised slavery system.

Distractions....

Ronnie still doesn't want to see it's not a database that is faulty. It is the ANC that, with it's cadre deployment, have idiots running the system. Not only running it, but ruining it as well. And naturally stealing most allocated funds as well

ANC is really losing its empowerment,Illegal immigration, unemployment, xenophobia, corruption, land issue, housing, power generation...

Kasrils lays blame on anc, there corrected it for you.

The writing is on the wall, Ramaphosa DISMALLY FAILED the country with his LIES.. including freedom fighters!!!🚮

Only people can be blamed. Not inanimate objects. Surprised he didn't blame Bill Gates.

Sanral blames Covid-19 for R570m revenue lossSanral has blamed Covid-19 and uncertainties of e-tolls in Gauteng as toll revenue dropped from R4.3 billion to R3.7 billion in 20-21 financial year. These toll gates on highways r very expensive. Every month the toll fees go up especially on the N3. Damit Covid-19 did nothing but Sanral should be blaming presidency for making wrong decisions that led to loss of revenue. Imagine 🙄. Did the toll road have Covid-19 You can't blame loss of revenue on covid. But you can say fewer people were making use of the toll road, which I may add has been making a loss since inception.
