Kaizer Chiefs will use the current January transfer window to reshuffle their foreign quota as they seek to add new signings. Read more here ➡️

KickOff.com has been informed that Kaizer Chiefs are working on reshuffling their foreign quota in this January transfer window with at least one non-South Africa set to be either released or loaned out.

The Zambian is in his third year at Chiefs but has delivered close to nothing which is why he was placed on the transfer list at the beginning of the season. For a forward, his numbers are poor with only two goals to his name in 42 appearances since arriving at Chiefs. It is for that reason that the club is keen to move him out to open further foreign space with the prospect of bringing in Ethiopian striker Abubeker Nasir Ahmed.

The 21-year-old remains in the books of BetKing Ethiopian Premier League club Ethiopian Coffee and is close to former Orlando Pirates forward Fikru Lemessa Tefera.Nasir was the top scorer in the Ethiopian Premier League last season with 29 goals and has so far bagged four in the new season.
