Junior Khanye has reiterated his position regarding the possible signing of Siyethemba Sithebe by Kaizer Chiefs. In recent weeks, the AmaZulu midfielder has been strongly linked with a move to Amakhosi, while some reports suggested that the 29-year-old might have already agreed a deal in principle. As he weighed in on the talented player’s possible signing with Chiefs in last week’s Soccer Laduma, edition 1257, Khanye said he hasn’t seen enough of Sithebe at AmaZulu for him to earn a move to the Soweto giants.
Speaking to the Siya crew further about the potential move, the former Chiefs midfielder added, “What I noticed about Sithebe is that he likes to play sideways, and you hardly see him playing direct passes accurately and he likes playing long balls. The guy is not consistent, and I don’t think he understands the principles of the game the way I see him.“The boy is talented make no mistake, but he missed out on being developed properly which could have helped him a lot to improve his game.
