Jaguar breathes new life into its original C-Type

Each C-type Continuation reflects the 1953 Le Mans-winning works team car specification, including the revolutionary disc brakes that contributed to its record-breaking triumph

It takes 3,000 hours to build the 1950s race cars and the Jaguar Classic team brings it to back to life using extensive research, modern technology and advanced computer-aided design. They are then handcrafted to honour the original C-Typeandundergo at least 400km of testing.

The mosaic, with vibrant colours that have survived the passage of time, measures around 17 by nine metres, depicting roaring lions, elephants in battle, giraffes and dolphins, as well as fruits, flowers in baskets, and sailing vessels. They are then handcrafted to honour the original C-Type and undergo at least 400km of testing. Arm on Tuesday also upgraded plans for its CPUs. The first customer’s car is finished in pastel green with suede-green leather seats and is inspired by the original C-Type which won the 360km, 50-lap sports car race at the Reims Grand Prix Meeting on June 29 1952. According to an Israel Antiquities Authority archaeologist, the mosaic is not only"the most luxurious one that we have here in Israel from that period", but also"unique in its form and character".
