President Cyril Ramaphosa has a golden opportunity to inspire the nation with his appointment of a Cabinet. He has to replace the same old boring names with new brooms. The country is ready to be surprised, writesJeff Radebe. Lindiwe Sisulu. Baleka Mbete. The same old names appear on three"lists" of would-be cabinets circulating in the ANC. The lists are exceptionally uninspiring and most probably fake.

The country is in desperate need for some new blood in the executive who will work with Ramaphosa to stimulate growth, strengthen social security and jail the corrupt. The public will look closely at who these two non-MPs are and Ramaphosa must use the moment wisely to bring in undisputed experts to strengthen his hand.

While both Creecy and Masondo are interesting prospects and have no scandals hanging over them, I have a feeling that Ramaphosa will need a business heavyweight in his cabinet to assist him with raising serious foreign investment to grow the economy and create jobs.

AdriaanBasson We Will be shocked like him

AdriaanBasson There'll be no such, it's day-dreaming. He will have to go outside parliament and ranks of the ANC to have a cabinet of people of integrity. That he'll not do,the cadres must get their loyalty's worth.

AdriaanBasson It won’t happen, it’s gonna be another 5 years of the same old same old

AdriaanBasson I predict that the ex-Cabinet Ministers who don't make it into Ramaphosa's Cabinet, will be rewarded with chairperson positions in Parliament - those positions also carry perks!

AdriaanBasson I think Ramaphosa will be ultra careful in deciding on his Cabinet, especially given that Parliament is stuffed with returning CompromisedCadres!

AdriaanBasson High time HE shocks US. In a good way, for a change.

AdriaanBasson If the current bunch (except a few) of louts in cabinet and parliament were only boring we'd be in heaven doing a jig. Words like useless, inept, failure, dishonest, lazy, compromised, Zupta, & worse, would be more appropriate. Will Radebe be back with more dodgy oil adventures?

AdriaanBasson A new broom needs no old bristles, otherwise it won't clean

AdriaanBasson Oh nkosi yam uqalile uAdriaan!🙄

AdriaanBasson I believe that the Selection of the Nee Cabinet will Start Working for the People as for the People. An stop ✋ being greedy an thinking of themselves we tired of that in South Africa 🇿🇦. We have voted 🗳 for change an Growth in South Africa 🇿🇦 growsouthafrica CyrilRamaphosa

AdriaanBasson 🤣
