Hermione Cronje, head of the National Prosecuting Authority’s Investigating Directorate , has resigned.
Batohi said she will formally recommend that President Cyril Ramaphosa accept Cronje’s resignation, effective from March 1 2022. “After a challenging first start-up phase, advocate Cronje will leave the ID well positioned to deliver on its important mandate. I am confident, given all the groundwork that has been done, that its work will continue unaffected, in the coming months.
What have you done? Got paid for doing nothing.
She embarrassed her Principal and the country with the premature announcement of Red Notices for Guptas Interpol , failed to follow up, making her position NPA_Prosecutes untenable?
Good riddance to bad rubbish!
This is significant and tells me that all is not well at the NPA. Shamila Batoyi just hasn’t performed as Director of the NPA and is a huge disappointment.
