Guided and walking tours are legal again. Here are the just-published rules. | BISouthAfrica

As in may other sectors, tour operators are now required to keep detailed records, including ID numbers and telephone numbers, of participants, and those must be handed over to the government on demand.

Tour guides, or technically"a person managing a guided tour", are also made responsible for keeping their guests safe, should anyone in a group have the coronavirus.making sure everyone wears a mask all the time, except when eating and drinking sanitising guests before they get into any vehicle, and providing sanitiser"for frequent use" during an excursionkeeping the windows in vehicles open at least 5cm.

Where snacks or water is provided, everything must be pre-packaged, and containers, bottles, and utensils must all be disposable.
