Unhappy parents try to digest the news of increasing class capacity in Gauteng schools.

The department is in consultation with all the schools in the province to increase classroom capacity toSome schools, like Benoni High, Crystal Park High and Parklands High, have already stepped in, taking more than 50 extra pupils each.from over 14,600 to about 12,000.

"Our schools are in demand and parents are angry at us. They very anxious so we want to finalise the process, said department spokesperson Steve Mabona.
