Adam Schlesinger, who co-founded the pop-rock band Fountains of Wayne, has died from complications related to Covid-19. He was 52.and throughout his career was nominated for an Oscar, Grammys and numerous other awards.
The songwriter's death follows his hospitalisation earlier this week. Adam's attorney, Josh Grier confirmed his client's admittance to a medical facility due to complications from the virus and said that the musician had been put on a ventilator.

Adam co-founded Fountains of Wayne with lead singer Chris Collingwood. The band reached the starts with their 2003 singleThe 52-year-old found more success in the world of TV and movies. He wrote the title song to the Tom Hanks-helmed filmwhich was released in 1996, and was nominated for an Oscar and a Golden Globe for his work.A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift of All!, which aired its last episode in America, last year.
The lead actress of that show, Rachel Bloom wrote a tweet mourning her frequent collaborator, on Thursday, saying:"I have so much to say about Adam Schlesinger that I am at a complete loss for words.
