Fitch: SA outlook is negative eNCA

It says the country's GDP is forecast to contract by 3.8 percent this year, and Fitch expects only a moderate recovery next year.

On Wednesday, Fitch downgraded five of South Africa’s banks to BB negative outlook. This is mainly due to the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has on operating environment and key financial metrics.

All because we stopped selling booze and cigarettes to save our people from Covid19 !!! Hamba Fitch sana!!!

Over to you tito_mboweni and your collective leadership MYANC - the hole is big and deep. I am sure your focus is still on NHI EWC RET Cadres Rhetoric Socialistpolicies Our_DA time to find your teeth!

I don't understand how these rating agencies can be so ruthless when the SA and the world is going thru a crisis bcos of covid19. Obviously there won't be growth. I say t our country lets show them. Let spprt our economy. Buy SA

Before you say SA outlook is negative, read this. It's a time of crisis of economic crisis is inevitable. But we in SA got this under control. We just need time to bounce back,

artistsonjaosi1 Plus further downgrades

So, everyone is taking some sort of strain, including economies. Isn't this alone enough for these rating agencies to give all of us a break? Why do they delight in torturing lives of ordinary individuals who are already struggling to make ends meet?

We really don't care

These people cannot be trusted, everything is Lockdown, yet they continue to rate us. 😭😭😭😭

When it rains, it rains!

If SA is junk at 29% unemployment, will the US be JJJ+ (triple junk+) when they hit the 30% unemployment mark?

Seriously in this crisis some people are still rating the outlook of some country come on give us a break.

What is this supposed to mean? 🤔🙆‍♂️

It's Zuma

Stupid Fitch ratings only waiting for that chance to pounce

We can't catch a break, Bathong.

Theses rating agencies must just wait a bit. We have a serious VIRUS that needs our full attention now. Their time will come but not now.

Which country's outlook is positive? 🤔

...damn Fitch, with covid-19 around and you stick-out your tail again! ….I am beginning to dislike Capitalism...a remote way to keep hold of control

which country is positive for the outlook.
