South Africa Headlines News

England are calling the shots at South Africa’s house party here in the Mother City.

The England Roses arrived in town this week with an experimental side and a new coach in Jess Thirbly but they are dictating terms to their hosts in this Spar Challenge International Netball Series.

As a result of this victory, England have increased their dominance over South Africa as they have beaten them for the fourth time after five meetings this year including a World Cup pool match and semi-final. Though Lenize Potgieter was impressive with her finishing and accounted for eleven of the twelve goals that the Proteas scored in the opening quarter, her attacking partner Lefebre Rademan squandered a number of opportunities.

Mid-high school certificate is a game changer for South AfricaSome critics argue that the new certificate may encourage more pupils to drop out of school. But we argue that it is a positive move. For sure! It is dumbing our people down in line with the thinking, 'keep them stupid and you can control them.' The best thing a person can do is get a hugh level education. Then you can go anywhere in the world to work and give your children a better future. Pathways? ILLUSION is created to give Joe Public the idea that everything is in order to accommodate mid high school certificate leavers. Infact those kids who will be leaving are messed up. They have not acquired any skill neither are they able to read 99% of the time.

Mbeki on South Africa’s foreign policy shortcomings — and his brush with neo-Nazis | News | Politics | M&GAfrican leaders are always in the West explaining things...Are we surprised? I don't believe that shit at all. The far right are so marginal in North and Western Europe that even if they gain a plurality of seats, the opposition will uniformally band together to shut them out. Neonates couldn't get in the same room as the PM, under any circumstances.

South African Airways dropped by leading travel insurer - SABC News - Breaking news, special reports, world, business, sport coverage of all South African current events. Africa's news leader. One of South Africa's leading travel insurance firms has stopped covering tickets issued by South African Airways (SAA) against insolvency, leaving the fate of the country's struggling state-run airline hanging in the balance Just shut the damn airline down. It already cost the country way more than what it’s worth. Keeping it in operation is just wasting tax payers money And there we have CR still pushing for BBBEE nonsense. Cant that silly being not see what damage has been done to SOE's through BBBEE? either too dumb or too racist to scrap BBBEE. Common sense will tell you to get rid of BBBEE if you cared about the economy. Shut SAA down. Sell the assets. Rebuild from scratch with viable routes, new aircrafts and better service. I mean South Africa can't even afford a B787 dreamliner. Pathetic. Watch Ethiopian Airways soar... We are still flying A319... Geeez
