While the vote counting is still in early days, the EFF looks to be gaining support in Mpumalanga.

Police are on high alert from Wednesday, monitoring voting all over the country.The party was slightly ahead of the DA a short while ago with a 12.49 percentage of the vote versus the DA's 12.37 percent.

The ANC seems set to continue its dominance in Mpumalanga.
