EFF leader Julius Malema says the party is preparing to govern in many municipalities from next year. It is also launching a programme to defend the rights of farm workers

Speaking at a press briefing this afternoon — after the party’s central command team meeting over the weekend — EFF leadersaw the party become a kingmaker in 13 hung councils including three metros: Nelson Mandela Bay, Tshwane and Johannesburg.“Next year is going to be the beginning of ushering in the government of the EFF, which will benefit our people, both black and white, but [with] more emphasis on the previously disadvantaged black people.

He said branches of the party will be visiting and engaging with farm workers as a way of finding solutions to their plight. He said farm dwellers did not enjoy basic living conditions, such as access to water, electricity and sanitation. “If you cannot provide clean water, what type of racism is this? What type of inhuman conduct is this? Where you sit with your wife and your children, drink water and have electricity but five or 10 metres away from your house there are people without water and they are not allowed to drink with you. That must be dealt with.”last week.

Well in order for rights to exist they first need an employer, something which is becoming extremely scarce these days

It is going to happen and then we will see the sports. They will create their own little goverment in those towns and ignore all other. My way (EFF) or nothing.

Maybe they must build their own city, manage it well and at a profit. Then the whole world will believe and trust them. Untill then, watch your coffee it will get cold.

Rotflmao

They will steal everything. The are already criminals

We heard that before.

The EFF must start by getting involved in the matter involving the abuse of Africans on a farm in Estcourt called Sunrise. I have asked EFF and other so-called fighters for human rights before, to no avail. Talk is cheap

Something about counting chickens before they hatch.

What else would they eye? The provincial govts?

Which municipality, Not Ekurhuleni 🤔
