Durban teens in court after fellow pupil is killed in place of safety

A 15-year-old Sastri College pupil died after being shot, allegedly by fellow pupils, near the school last Thursday.Two Sastri College pupils, aged 14 and 15, who were arrested in connection with the death of a fellow pupil have been placed in a Durban place of safety.

They first appeared in court on Monday where their preliminary inquiry was rolled over to Tuesday. The inquiry will investigate the facts of the case, how it should proceed and the criminal capacity of the minors.
