Durban - Police officers from the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Drug and Firearm Unit embarked on an intelligence-driven operation on Thursday that led to the arrest of a 21-year-old man in possession of drugs.
The police investigated and found that the suspect was distributing drugs to KwaMashu and other townships in the province. Provincial commissioner Lieutenant-General Khombinkosi Jula commended the police officers for their good work and thanked the community, too. The suspect was expected to appear before the Durban Magistrate’s Court on Friday morning on drug possession charges.
