Looking for something to do this weekend? Why not join fellow queer book lovers at the CTL (Cape Town Lesbians) event at the Cape Town Central Library?

The CTL Book Club has organised an event for attendees to discuss their favourite queer literature and exchange ideas.

Coffee and refreshments will be provided, making it the perfect opportunity to make new connections and expand your reading list.If you haven’t registered as a library member yet, no worries! You can do so on the spot and explore the library’s wonderful queer book selection with the rest of the group.

CTL invites people to bring along spare queer books that you’re open to exchanging and other unwanted books that can also be donated to the library for others to enjoy. This is an inclusive event for all sapphics, women who love women , and all trans and gender non-binary folks. Don’t worry if you don’t know anyone; it’s the perfect space to make new friends.
