OPINION: If one looks at the majority of schools in the southern suburbs of Cape Town they have never gone beyond the 50% threshold for people of colour at the school. One must ask, why, writes Keiran_Peacock

Keiran_Peacock Are the children drawn from the feeder area, this could be reflective of the areas demand graphic?

Keiran_Peacock Government should subsidise the parents who can not afford private schools fees provided that the school in question is adjacent to pupil and parents/guardian registered residence.

Keiran_Peacock Why dont they build proper schools in their own area, always have to go to white schools for proper educations, it says alot

H_Daniels85 Keiran_Peacock One word. Fees

Keiran_Peacock Their expensive...ppl in Cape Town can't all afford them...

Keiran_Peacock Agree the feeder school thing should be scrapped. Probably reduces competitiveness

Why must EVERYTHING be so 'race based' in Cape Town ?

Keiran_Peacock It completely depends on what percentage of their income people want to spend PER CHILD's education. That's why. If people have fewer children, & prepared to pay more per child, that's their choice. If they want to spend it on fancy cars, or having 10 kids, that's their choice.

Keiran_Peacock Ask those same people of color the question

Keiran_Peacock

Keiran_Peacock Most children can’t even walk to their schools in the cape flats without being harassed by gangsters. Lord forbid we have a few majority white schools though.

Keiran_Peacock Because the majority of the public cannot afford decent education. You get what you pay for or not...as a tax payer we get crap from the cANCer regime. Wish my kids could go to a private school. Instead they suck hind tit as a favour from cancer.

Keiran_Peacock Nationalise schools, force all cabinet ministers and presidents children to use it...guaranteed it will be transformed overnight.
