The Constitutional Court has dismissed an application by the Democratic Alliance challenging the regulations of the Disaster Management Act.
The DA says the Act gives Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, wide-ranging powers.The party also questioned the separation of powers between Parliament and the national executive.Source
