The DA said about 80% of schoolchildren were being denied half their schooling, on the assumption that this is somehow beneficial to them. In part B, the DA wants the court to review and set aside regulations that make it impossible for primary schools to fulfil the right to a basic education. “At present, children at richer primary schools can go to school every day. Children attending poorer primary schools can only go to school every second day, or second week.

He said the violation of children’s rights was disproportionate to achieving any possible limitation of the spread of Covid-19.

Fritz scandal casts another shadow over DA in the Western CapeFritz scandal casts another shadow over DA in the Western Cape - Good party sees political advantage after the suspension of a ‘low-profile’ figure in local government If the man is guilty how can it cast a shadow on the party? If anything it shows good governance to get the facts and seek justice. Do you prefer the ANC way of managing? Is that the same Good Party whose members chained themselves to subvert the Joburg council meeting? Petty politics if ever. SA is a real funny place. Had he not been relieved of his duties, the party would have been vilified. There is a party where people are still sitting hot in their seats despite scandals with no shame. Very funny indeed
