Football Fever ⚽️Percy Tau has added yet another accolade to his collection in just his second season abroad after his side Club Brugge were declared the champions of Belgium on Thursday

This after the Jupiler Pro League board of directors resolved to cancel the 2019/20 season in the wake of the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic.“It is not desirable to continue the competition after June 30...the board of directors formulated unanimous advice to the general [assembly] not to resume the competitions of the 2019/20 season and to accept the current state of the Jupiler Pro League as final classification .

Brugge were enjoying a 15-point lead ahead of KAA Gent in the 16-team structure with just one round of fixtures left to conclude the season. With Brugge being crowned the champions, the feat means Tau has collected his first league winners’ medal, in addition to the Proximus League player of the year award he won while on loan at Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium’s second-tier league.

In these two competitions, Tau played against top stars from Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid to France’s mega-club Paris Saint-Germain and Turkey’s powerhouse Galatasary in the Champions League group phase.
