JOHANNESBURG - Tourism Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane says an additional R30-million has been set aside to assist tour guides during the lockdown. Kubayi-Ngubane outlined tourism regulations and measures during a media briefing on Saturday afternoon.We have set aside a total of R30-million which will provide financial relief over a period of 2-3 months for tourist guides,” she said.
She says the additional funding has been set aside to assist tour guides who do not qualify for the Unemployment Insurance Fund.
