JOHANNESBURG - Tourism Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane says an additional R30-million has been set aside to assist tour guides during the lockdown. Kubayi-Ngubane outlined tourism regulations and measures during a media briefing on Saturday afternoon.We have set aside a total of R30-million which will provide financial relief over a period of 2-3 months for tourist guides,” she said.

She says the additional funding has been set aside to assist tour guides who do not qualify for the Unemployment Insurance Fund. "The beneficiaries of this scheme will include tour guides who are registered in terms of the Tourism Act, tour guides who are not employed by any company and those who have not formed their own company."Help protect your loved ones by sharing this officialThe NICD has another Clinician Hotline to improve #COVID19 communication and support for healthcare providers.
