Comrades Women’s Boot Camp returns

Scheduled for March, the Comrades Marathon Association will host two women’s boot camps, in Durban and Johannesburg, respectively.

CMA marketing and communications manager Delaine Cools said, “March will be an especially exciting time for women in the Comrades world. We are excited to present these Comrades Women’s Boot Camps in KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng this year. Last year’s inaugural boot camp will be remembered by many as one of the most invigorating and inspiring fitness sessions put together by the CMA, specifically for our ladies.

In line with the CMA’s 2024 campaign of showcasing Comrades’ Local Legends, Cools said they will have a motivational talk by 1993 Comrades Marathon winner, Tilda Tearle at the Durban Boot Camp and last year’s runner-up, Adele Broodryk at the Johannesburg Boot Camp.• Durban boot camp – March 2 at 08:00 at Southern Sun Elangeni Hotel – 63 Snell Parade, North Beach, Durban
