Chippa United will not give an inch when they face limping Kaizer Chiefs in Port Elizabeth on Tuesday‚ says captain Veli Mothwa.

The Chilli Boys return to the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium for their first home game of the season and will be looking to inflict more damage on an already wounded Amakhosi outfit starting at 7.30pm.

However‚ Mothwa said they would battle for every blade of grass on their home patch with the aim of coming away with a positive result.“Remember what Chiefs did to us [last season]? So there is no peace‚ no forgiveness for what they did to us. Mothwa said despite the clash being billed as a big game‚ it would come down to application by the players.

“As I said in my first interview this season‚ it’s not in our nature to plan for the whole season‚ or for the next five games that are coming.“Focusing on the fourth or fifth game while we have a task now could be a bad thing for us.

Mngqithi on Sundowns' thumping of Chiefs: 'we could easily have scored four or five and possibly even six'Mamelodi Sundowns may have handed Kaizer Chiefs an embarrassing 3-0 thumping on the opening day of the season at the weekend but co-coach Manqoba Mngqithi is not satisfied. I think we must stop talking about this loss, its painful This Sundowns team has depth. When it played against Chiefs, it had other 11 quality players that could have played and won the match Our coach Gavin Hunt couldn't have done anything better with our current squad. Even if we can play MS the next weekend, we'd still lose against that quality team. Congrats to Manqoba, Steve and Rhulani.
