Exotic Animal Memorial Park in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, which once belonged to Joseph Maldonado-Passage, aka, Joe Exotic, be handed over to Big Cat Rescue Corp – Carole Baskin's animal rescue sanctuary.The Netflix docu-series follows Joe Exotic, the owner of a zoo in Oklahoma with an unhealthy obsession with animal right activist, Carole Baskin.
Jeff Lowe, a friend turned enemy, took over the running of Joe's zoo, but has now been given 120 days to vacate the property.Carole and the sanctuary were handed over the property after it was found to have been fraudulently transferred to Joe's mother, Shirley M. Schreibvogel.filmmakers recently revealed the zoo is struggling under Jeff Lowe's control.:"All I can tell you is that he [Jeff Lowe] is basically operating on fumes.
He added:"I think that it's very sad what's happening to these animals. And it's anyone's guess as to what's going to happen to them. Some will be placed but I would suspect a lot of them will die from starvation, and probably be put down."
