Armed with a solid foundation in quantitative analysis and risk assessment, Carl has excelled in the field of asset management. Carl is also a co-founder of The Cirk acrobatic company, who perform aerial cirque shows at The Cirk theatre in Cresta Mall.

Growing out of a very successful investment advisory firm, in 2016 we embarked on a journey which resulted in the creation of Global & Local Asset Management.

Global & Local has always believed that to deliver results one has to be different, Global & Local Asset Management now extends this non-traditional approach into asset management. Focussing on a global approach to investment management, we believe that in order to find the most profitable investment opportunities one should understand the state of the current macro-economic environment and match this to leading edge investment management techniques.

The understanding of global macro-economic trends with state-of-the-art financial technology, leading quantitative minds and active portfolio management where required, is how positive and consistent returns are generated for our investors. Global & Local Asset Management focusses on offshore markets where the universe of investment opportunities are greater, but we do not ignore the opportunities that can exist within the South African market.
