Cape Town welcomes Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi

CAPE TOWN - Capetonians have on Friday welcomed Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi to celebrate her triumph on the world stage. Tunzi is touring parts of the country to celebrate her being crowned Miss Universe 2019. With her crown and sash, Miss Universe is on a float making her way through the streets of Cape Town. Before she headed off, she briefly spoke to a crowd of fans at the Grand Parade. One woman said she was an inspiration for many young people: “She’s a good person.” Another spectator who was on the road and caught a glimpse of Tunzi said she was happy and proud to see Miss Universe. “We are very happy to be part of this thing. It is our first time seeing Miss Universe in SA.” Read more: Eyewitness News

So in actual fact, provinces like Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Northern Cape, are never going to get these road shows? First it was the Rugby World Cup, now Miss Universe? While she and Kolisi kept South Africa’s name high, the EFF ruined it last night within a hour. The EFF’s footage was broadcasted on CNN, the whole world saw what a joke our country is.
