Business Leadership CEO says setting up commissions of inquiry prolongs the problem

The government has not adequately dealt with the scourge of corruption and has instead established multiple commissions of inquiry to investigate allegations of corruption within state institutions, thus kicking the can down the road, says Business Leadership SA CEO Bonang Mohale.

Referring to investigations involving allegations of corruption at state-owned power utility Eskom, Mohale said at least three separate investigations in malfeasance had been conducted “over and above the board and the department of public enterprises”. “In the last municipal elections, the ANC hung by the tip of their fingernails. The demographics are actually quite telling: 60% of the country is 35 years old and younger. These people have no [emotional attachment] to people who spent time on Robben Island. They want service delivery.

“The difficulty is that security of tenure is not enjoyed by any anticorruption entity in SA ... and unless and until that is addressed by housing a single entity in a chapter nine institution ... we are not going to get any go-forward in relation to the fight against corruption,” he said.

Honestly i really want to appreciate tyron_robert7 who has brought so much light into my life in a small period of time, I started investing with a minimum $300 and now i have earn up to $3,200 on a weekly basic i can't thank you enough tyron_robert7 The is no leadership, not management. South Africa is leaderless. ANC deploys thugs to run government and legislatures, the end result is poverty and no service delivery. There's no greater joy than having financial freedom and a life free debts 😊, that's why I keep posting a comment about Mr Dereck0111
