SA Football Association president Danny Jordaan announced on Thursday that the Banyana Banyana players and their Bafana Bafana counterparts would for the first time earn the same amounts when they participate in the Fifa Women’s World Cup and in the Africa Cup of Nations respectively.
They will earn R520‚000 for reaching the quarter-finals‚ R670‚000 for getting to the semifinals and R920‚000 for winning their respective tournaments. “It is truly amazing as you know that we have been fighting for equality in sport for a long time‚” she said."We have seen with women football teams abroad that some of them have got it right.
"We also appeal to other corporate companies to come on board and help Sasol to support women’s football‚” said Jane.

At last
Actually, they should earn far more than Bafana Bafana.
Good! Good!! Very good!!! Excellent!!!! They deserve it!!!!!!
VusiSambo About time!
A step in the right direction
No more poverty for our girls&they deserve this.
How much revenue does the women team generate?
VusiSambo Surely Banyana should receive more. AFCON not a World Cup tournament. Don't lower the bar.
That's awesome
now, the girls need to do their work without the money stresses💪💪💪
SasolSA nice
Applause to SAFA_net for the good heart shown to Banyana, but I would like to say that we shouldn't compare ladies and gents football as it is a different ballgame (figuratively speaking). Banyana might be good but never put a measure of comparison to Bafana.
Is much better for the Ladies National Team coz as for our guys we know that they will be eliminated at group stages....with 3 points beating Namibia only
