Bailout for SAA will badly harm citizens’ wellbeing and dignity

The medium-term budget policy statement delivered by finance minister Tito Mboweni confirmed our biggest fear — that provincial and municipal governments, who are at the coalface of service delivery, would take the hit to fund another bailout of SAA.
