Andy Samberg's award-winning comedy coming to DStv Box Office

The science fiction romantic comedy won Best Comedy at the Critics' Choice Awards and Best First Screenplay at the Independent Spirit Awards, amongst others, this year. The film broke the record for most viewed Hulu release in its first weekend on the streaming service in America. Directed by Max Barbakow, with a screenplay by Andy Siara, the film follows the carefree Nyles and reluctant maid of honour Sarah who have a chance encounter at a wedding in the desert resort city of Palm Springs in California. After Sarah stumbles over her words during her toast, Nyles takes the microphone and delivers an impeccable speech that wins the hearts of everyone there, including Sarah.

The two end up spending the rest of the wedding together. However, soon thereafter, things get complicated when they find themselves unable to escape the venue, themselves, and each other. It quickly becomes apparent that the duo are trapped in a time loop, unable to escape the wedding day. Palm Springs was produced by comedy trio formed by Akiva Schaffer, Samberg, and Jorma Taccone known as 'The Lonely Island', a crew that, across countless
