Mziwonke Ndabeni, the ANC’s provincial head of elections, on Tuesday said the limited budget for the financially-strapped governing party, the short campaign period and low voter turnout were cause for concern ahead of the local government elections results.
Speaking from the Electoral Commission of SA results operations centre in East London, Ndabeni said the ANC was worried and “crossing our fingers” it would do better in the hotly contested Gqeberha-based metro when the final results are released. The reason for the anxiety was that when they lost the metro in 2016, it was as a result of low voter turnout, which has been a national trend in this election. Out of the 26 million registered voters nationally, only 12 million cast their votes in Monday’s elections.

Did they expect growth after Amasela like Oscar Mabuyane and Babalo Madikizela stole the Transport dept and Winnie Madikizela Mandela LM?
All along you have been telling us anc is regaining grounds measuring it with bi-elections.
Next is the Province then the Premier must face the music from RSASIU
Let them lose they are very dishonest.
