Speaking on the sidelines of the commission on Tuesday morning, Magashule - who arrived with an ANC entourage including MK Military Veterans Association spokesperson Carl Niehaus and ANC spokesperson Dakota Legoete - said that he shared the same sentiments as Zuma. Before proceedings could start on Tuesday, Zuma informed deputy chief justice Raymond Zondo that his personal assistant received a call on Monday night.

He claimed that his legal representative, advocate Muzi Sikhakhane, also received threats on his life recently.
