The National Institute for Communicable Diseases has reported 5 920

, which brings the total number of laboratory-confirmed infections to 3 546 808. This increase represents a 14.3% positivity rate.The institute says there may be a backlog of COVID-19 mortality cases reported due to the Department of Health’s audit exercise. A further 159 COVID-related deaths have been reported and of these, 51 occurred in the past 24–48 hours. This brings the total fatalities to 92 989.Below are the latest coronavirus statistics:
