A new Mrs World will be crowned on Saturday at Westgate Resort in Las Vegas.

This will be the first coronation ceremony since the competition was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. "This is an iconic moment that represents so much hope and purpose going into 2022," said the Mrs South Africa Organisation in an Instagram post.

Due to the event being delayed, Mrs South Africa 2021 Thenjiwe Mdluli will represent the country at the international competition. The newly crowned Jo Judnick-Wilson will be cheering on her predecessor ahead of her chance to represent the country at the following Mrs World event later this year.

"When I heard the travel bans were lifted, my heart literally did a triple flik flak for Thenji! I am so excited for her!" said Jo.

To stream the Mrs World pageant online, you can purchase a ticket on the official Mrs World website for $24.99 (Approx. R380).

Once you have a ticket, you have instant access to the internet video stream. The video plays automatically in your browser. It works on PC, Mac, tablet or smartphone.
