'House n*gger’ comment on WhatsApp lands ANC MP in hot water

ANC MP Faiez Jacobs has been found guilty of breaching Parliament’s code of ethical conduct for labelling a DA Cape Town councillor a “house n*gger” in a community WhatsApp chatgroup.

DA MP Alexandra Abrahams approached the legislature’s Joint Committee on Ethics and Members’ Interests with evidence of at least 26 messages on the group chat in which the term is used to refer to Bonteheuwel ward councillor Angus McKenzie.
