City Press has seen documents filed at the appellate court two weeks ago in which Sitole and his deputies, Francinah Vuma and Jacob Tsumane, are asking the SCA president to “consider that this matter is of importance to the applicants and invokes the interpretation of sections 4(2) and 29(2) of the Independent Police Investigative Directorate [Ipid] Act 1 of 2011 vis-à-vis the facts that were placed before the court”.
