On 4 August 2020, a devastating explosion made its way through Beruit, the capital of Lebanon. Approximately 5000 people were injured and 135 killed.
Caused by a fire that broke out at the port of Beruit, inside a storage facility with explosive material, the eruption decimated a number of Beruit's galleries, museums, and art centres.
