In a series of tweets, Senator Elizabeth Warren called Facebook 'unprepared' for the 2020 election.

, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said he would not censor social media posts from politicians, including President Donald Trump.

"Facebook is actively helping Trump spread lies and misinformation," Warren wrote."Facebook already helped elect Donald Trump once. They might do it again—and profit off of it." Facebook had a policy that didn't permit misinformation in any ads. Facebook built relationships with independent fact-checkers, so they weren't the sole deciders of what was or wasn't a lie. But Facebook undermined those relationships and excluded political ads from that policy.According to a portion of the interview with Fox News host Dana Perino posted on Thursday, Zuckerberg reiterated similar themes, saying the company had no plans to censor Trump or politicians in general.

Biden, Buttigieg Lecture Elizabeth Warren at Democratic DebateIn the weeks since the last Democratic primary debates, it’s become apparent that Elizabeth Warren is gaining momentum and establishing herself as a clear frontrunner. She’s rising in the polls, expanding her base of support while polling numbers for Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders, the other two leading candidates, have largely remained stagnant or dipped. Second-tier candidates like Pete Buttigieg have struggled to break out from their middling status; non-starters like Amy Klobuchar and Beto O’Rourke are even more desperate to shore up their flaccid campaigns. Which is why it was no surprise that during Tuesday’s night debate, Warren and her ideas were the focus of their attacks.
