You didn't imagine it - LaMarr & Alara were an off-screen item. 'The Road Not Taken' hints they got together in The Orville's alternate timeline, but a comic prequel confirms they dated and had a rocky breakup. TheOrvilleNewHorizons TheOrvilleSeason4

While most of The Orville crew's time is spent dealing with major threats and exploring new worlds, the Union officers still find time for romantic misadventures. From Ed and Kelly's will they/won't they to Claire and Yaphit's Retepsian-influenced hook-up, the course of true love never did run smooth. However, nowhere is that more true than between Chief of Security Alara Kitan and Chief Engineer John LaMarr.

What is it with John and women? If he dated Alara, she very likely would have nearly killed him during sex just as Talla did, and then he humped a female statue and almost got lobotomized, then pissed off Claire and she damn near took his head off..he may need some counseling!

‘Don’t Worry Darling’ shrugs off drama, opening with $19.2MWho spit on who? After off-screen drama threatened to consume Olivia Wilde’s “Don’t Worry Darling,” the Warner Bros. release opened No. 1 at the box office. Anything on the animals trashing the WaWa? Didn’t think so That's the draw of Golden Boy Harry_Styles; oliviawilde is not the true director, that would be Florence_Pugh who had to step in when OW failed to do her job, prompting OW to require an NDA towards the end of filming in hope of keeping wbpictures in the dark & controlling HS. Really good movie -- no virtue signalling or fake diversity. Beautifully shot and edited. You can't tell there was trouble on the set. Music by John Powell ('How to train your dragon').
