Yellowjackets Season 2 Image Reveals First Look At Adult Lottie

A creepy new image teases Lottie's return in Yellowjackets season 2 and reveals Simone Kessell as the adult version of the character. The Showtime series follows the lives of the survivors of a deadly plane crash, forced to fend for themselves in the Canadian wilderness for over a year. Split across two timelines, Yellowjackets season 1 depicts both the aftermath of the crash and the lives of several adult survivors as their past begins to haunt them.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY And season 2 looks to play out just as bleak for the remaining Yellowjackets, especially as Lottie prepares to make her return. Shared by Vanity Fair, a new image shows the first look at adult Lottie in season 2, with Lottie, dressed in yellow robes, in a forested setting. Other images from the season appear to show Lottie an as-of-yet unseen location, possibly the headquarters for her mysterious cult.

While teased in season 1, it will be interesting to see how Lottie goes from a teenager in an awful situation to a full-blown cult leader. Sophie Nélisse recently teased Yellowjackets season 2's intense violence, so it seems only a matter of time before the survivors begin depicting their cannibalistic tendencies, with Lottie likely the instigator of this grizzly turn of events. That said, Yellowjackets has excelled at portraying its characters as complex and flawed - including Lottie.

Yellowjackets has become something of a surprise hit for Showtime, garnering both awards and widespread critical acclaim, and it looks to continue this success with season 2. While Lottie will play a major part in the show's future, Yellowjackets season 2 will also add several other new key characters, including Lauren Ambrose as adult Van.
