Jeff Spry is an award-winning screenwriter and veteran freelance journalist covering TV, movies, video games, books, and comics. His work has appeared at SYFY Wire, Inverse, Collider, Bleeding Cool and elsewhere. Jeff lives in beautiful Bend, Oregon amid the ponderosa pines, classic muscle cars, a crypt of collector horror comics, and two loyal English Setters.

But ear-piercing shrieks delivered in the privacy of your own home are very audible, and the science fiction frights percolating deep in thePicking up where writer Phillip Kennedy Johnson and artists Salvador Larroca and Julius Ohta left off on their scary"Alien" comic book series in 2021/2022, a wintry new venture into theDike Ruan's main cover for"Alien #1."

Written by Irish creator Declan Shalvey and drawn by artist Andrea Broccardo ,"Alien #1" invades Earth on April 26 to begin an ongoing exploration of the terrifying worlds spawned from Ridley Scott’s 1979 masterpiece of sci-fi horror,"Alien."will also present an entirely new roster of characters living in a remote patch of the cosmos as they search for a revolutionary scientific discovery.

"It's incredibly exciting to take on such a brilliant franchise ... the potential for great stories is limitless," Shalvey said in an official Marvel press release."I feel like the themes from the films remain quite relevant to today, which makes me feel like we're able to tell contemporary stories set in that iconic universe.

"I'm very much hoping to channel the mood and atmosphere of those films while doing something new, and Andrea has done an incredible job of putting the reader in that recognizable world. With this new series, I think we have a really interesting addition to the lore of 'Alien.'"

The teeth are wrong. They have 12 on top and 12 on bottom. It’s not a big deal, I just thought it was funny that jumped out at me bc I’m in the middle of duplicating a movie prop and the teeth were the last thing I was working on.😂

Biden Begins New Year by Freeing over 550 Illegal Alien Criminals into U.S.In the first 30 days of 2023, President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released from detention more than 550 illegal alien criminals into the United States. Isn't it amazing how the only, 'secure' document in DC is Epstein's client list? Remember that literally millions of your fellow Americans support this. That's what we voted for when we voted Biden in. Our first order was to release all those trumpy had locked up in his concentration camps.

Could we use antimatter-based propulsion to visit alien worlds? What if traveling to exoplanets were no longer the realm of science fiction? I would argue based on materials, documentation and testimony I've seen that there already exist, entirely electric warp-bubble technologies based on Tesla's magnifying transmitter design. If we would know how to handle it we could. I’ve stated this years ago, I’ll make another wild claim here. In the next 4 years we will see hypersonic travel become more and more updated, not only that but we will find a better source of energy to use in travel (this won’t help the public as it will be only for gov use)

A college student built an AI to help look for alien radio signalsA University of Toronto undergrad working alongside SETI designed an AI to comb radio data, and it's already showing promise. How close are we to discovering aliens? It's an inspiring thing! PopSci Great Lord God will do miracles tomorrow in the sky. Be afraid of God. PopSci I predict no alien life will be found. How long have we been looking with nothing to show for it? Some people just cannot believe that it’s just us. It’s a waste of scarce resources which should be used for research that will produce beneficial results.
